The Modernites Trust was created in 1983 by MSOSA to support the charitable and philanthropic activities. The founding trustees were senior Modernites Justice Prakash Narain, Vinod Dikshit, Shashi Puri, Ravinder Narain, Inderjit & SS.Khera. With help from individual donors and MSOSA, the Trust has created a corpus to fund its activities. The surplus from the MSOSA activities is partly transferred to this corpus which supports the Gurudakshina & Scholarship Programs. Gurudakshina program, for retired teachers, has had over 40 beneficiaries since its commencement in 1997.The Scholarship Program meant to support needy and meritorious students from economic and backward sections of society has had over 80 beneficiaries.
